A grounding and centering intermediate level yoga class, with a focus on linking movement with breath to bring awareness and observation to physical sensations, emotions, and thoughts you’re experiencing without judgement. Each class will focus on a particular pose that we will break down workshop-style. Recommended props: yoga mat, two blocks (or books), strap (or scarf/towel)
Previous yoga experience strongly recommended.
This class expects students to have some level of prior experience.
You'll get a great workout, and still have energy later.
Yvette Jain is a mom of two young boys and a recognized yoga teacher with a background in corporate marketing. Yvette knows the importance of finding calm through the ups and downs of modern parenting. She credits yoga, meditation, and creative thinking with giving her the clarity and connection to be her best self. She is a certified Baptiste Yoga teacher and a certified Hatha Yoga & Meditation teacher, having trained under Yogi Charu & Savitri Yoga Shal. Yvette has been practicing since 2004 and teaching since 2011 and is excited to be part of the Ompractice community!

This class has the "intermediate" word in the title which makes it a little intimidating but I gave it a go and so glad that I did. If you are mindful about your body's abilities (limitations) then you are good to go with this class.

I was nervous to take an intermediate class however, I’m so overjoyed that I was able to attend Yvette’s class. She did an amazing job in helping me to overcome the mental challenges in what I thought an intermediate class would bring.
