Prepare yourself to stretch, strengthen, and tone the body but also build on your natural physical vocabulary to free your mind of mental & physical limitation by accessing the body you were blessed with & to move with through prana, asana & mindful movement. This is an open-level class. Recommended props: yoga mat, blocks (or books), straps (or scarf/towel), therabands
Previous yoga experience strongly recommended.
This class expects students to have some level of prior experience.
You'll get a great workout, and still have energy later.
Cornelius found his way to yoga through his college dance teacher and reconnected with yoga, years later, after a dance injury while performing professionally with The Lion King on Broadway. He currently lives in Los Angeles, CA as a yoga instructor (ERYT 200), L1 Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor, and performer.

I’ve had 3 back surgeries in my 20s now at 51 I have chronic pain. This class is what I needed to realized I can move like I use to and feel better. First yoga class in 3 years. I will be back!!!

Fast-paced flow with lots of ladder-style sequencing. There is usually something a bit creative as well, including non-ordinary transitions. There is usually an interlude of core work too.
