SPECIAL CLASS: Prop Your Practice - Learn How To Use Household Items and Props to Enhance Your Yoga Practice!

90min

About this Class

In this workshop, you will discover and feel how practicing with props can create more space and ease in the body and mind and enhance your practice overall. You will also learn new ways to use props to add challenge to your practice. There's no need to purchase any props for this workshop! You will learn how to use household items that can be substituted when you don't have yoga props available. This workshop is open to everyone - whether you're an experienced student curious about different ways to explore your practice or new to yoga and unsure of how to use props. We will practice and demo yoga poses using our props and then move through a slow vinyasa flow with the props. Props: Bring your yoga blocks, strap, bolster and blanket if you have them. If not, no worries! Chanel will be guiding you how to use items around your house!

Chanel is a RYT-200 certified instructor who started her yoga journey when she injured her knee and her physical therapist suggested yoga as a form of healing. At first she thought yoga was going to just be “stretching” but quickly learned it brought far more benefits both emotionally and physically. Chanel teaches a vinyasa (flow) style class that encourages her students to try new things in a non-judgemental environment.
