This 60 minute gentle flow practice will be focused on releasing tension from the spine, head to tail. We’ll move slowly, integrating our attention to body, mind, and breath, while exploring a sequence accessible to all. Shoulders, hips and everything in between will be accessed through simple stretches and movements with careful attention to your own body wisdom. Most of the practice is spent seated or laying on the back. Following your own body wisdom will be encouraged, repeatedly. This practice is perfect for ALL bodies: total beginners, as a chair practice, and even as a prenatal practice. Join Emily, and take a little mid-day break to destress and let go of accumulated tension in the body. Recommended props: yoga mat, chair (for seated practice) Also meets: Tuesday
This class is appropriate for all students with all experience levels, including new and beginner students who are still learning the basics.
Gentle, with slow sustained movement on the mat.
