This is a whole body movement based class taught by a Physical Therapist who is also a Pelvic Health Specialist. The focus of this class is to improve pelvic floor function in order to prevent and help treat problems such as urinary/bowel incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and pelvic pain. This class can be modified to meet you and your body where you are at, but regardless of your level, prepare to work hard and work up a sweat - there are no Kegels and no lying down in this pelvic floor class! NOTE: This class is done completely standing. NOTE: This class is for all women prenatal (someone who is already pregnant) and postpartum as well as pre-pregnancy (someone wanting to get pregnant but not pregnant yet) through post-menopause who are looking to treat and prevent pelvic floor symptoms and improve pelvic floor function. Students should ensure they have been cleared to exercise by their physician. Recommended props: light 1-5 lb hand weights (or water bottles/cans) Also meets: Tuesday
This class is appropriate for all students with all experience levels, including new and beginner students who are still learning the basics.

Brittney Cappiello has been a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist for 18+ years and is the founder of an online treatment and prevention program called My Core Floor, using education, exercise, and community to help women to take back control of their lives related to pelvic pain and bladder health. It was just the right amount of challenge: I feel as if I got the perfect balance of cardio and strength, mixed with some balance work. Enjoying that sweaty post exercise glow!

This class is exactly what I have been needing and looking for after giving birth 3 months ago. I feel empowered to strengthen my pelvic muscles that did so much hard work during labor and need some extra attention to get back to βnormalβ.

Excellent class. Didn't feel too difficult during, but I was sore the day after - the good kind of sore which equates to a good, healthy workout. I liked it and will take it again!
