About this Class

A shortened version of our traditional Ompractice Vinyasa Yoga Class. Flow through a creative sequence of poses focusing on linking conscious breath to fluid movement to awaken your strength, energy, and flexibility. Recommended props: yoga mat Also meets: Monday, Tuesday

Previous yoga experience strongly recommended.

This class expects students to have some level of prior experience.

Meet Your Teacher

Shanna SmallJoined July 2023

Shanna is a writer and yoga teacher who speaks to the intersectionality of Yoga and social justice. She has been practicing and teaching yoga for over 2 decades, studying Ashtanga and Hatha yoga, Sanskrit, Yoga Sutras, and Vedic studies, including the Gita, and is an E-RYT 500. She teaches diversity and inclusion as well as accessibility trainings and workshops and loves making practices fun and accessible for all bodies.

I really look forward to Shanna’s 0530 am class! It has improved how I start my day tremendously with it only being my 3 week of class. Her class provides you with the right amount of energy to start your day half way through the class and I feel myself becoming more alert and attentive. Great class to wake the body. Also since I’ve joined the class I noticed that my 2pm burnout is becoming a thing of the past.

Excellent cues, I'm a fairly newer yogi. I know most of the poses. I'm fairly inflexible at this point but enjoyed the modifications - and the pacing was excellent for me.

I love this class. It's a perfect balance of challenge and flow, Shanna is wonderful. I particularly appreciate how Shanna makes yoga accessible and encourages us to focus on how we feel in our bodies. Modifications always feel like an invitation, not "less than."
