Katy is a registered yoga teacher trained in vinyasa, stationary, and yin yoga completing her initial training in 2011 with Yax Yoga Concepts in North Carolina. She is also an Army veteran, military spouse and mom of 4 kids. Katy has since been passionately sharing the life changing effects of a regular yoga practice with students in studios, on the beach, and in CrossFit gyms. Katy looks forward to teaching you wherever you are in the midst of your life.

Katy continuously cues us to focus on our own experience with each pose. This results in a truly individual experience. In her class, I'm not trying to arrange my body into each pose, so much as enjoying the generation of the poses from the inside out.

Katy appears fully aware of when even one student might need a little extra time for instruction so that he/she gets the most out of the class. The rest of the students end up benefiting from this.

She completed her initial training in 2011 with Yax Yoga Concepts in North Carolina and has since been passionately sharing the life changing effects of a regular yoga practice with students in studios, on the beach, in CrossFit gyms, and even in schools to teachers. Katy is an Army veteran, military spouse, and mom of four kids. Through this often hectic lifestyle she has gained a great appreciation for the benefits of taking time to get on the mat no matter where she is, and she is excited to use this teaching opportunity as a way to reach you wherever you are and in the midst of your real life.
