Power yoga was the perfect balance of challenge with offered modifications. Lisa did an amazing job pacing the class and she was so open, friendly, and encouraging, while still keeping the class paced quickly. This is everything I would want in a power yoga class (except a longer savasana, but I always want a longer savasana!!) I loved that she said at the beginning of class that the time and the flow was ours. I’m big on making modifications to the flow but I never want to insult a teacher by doing it if they’re not open to it. Lisa starting class this way made me feel so comfortable and welcome in my first class.

I spent five years or so thinking power flows were no longer accessible to me in my body. I accepted I wouldn't be practicing that style any longer. Lisa has a gift that makes power yoga accessible to people who may be dealing with pain or chronic physical issues. I love power yoga again and have tons of gratitude for Lisa and this platform.

Appreciate her sharing something personal about her previous life as a dancer

Lisa is my fave! (Sorry to my other instructors!) She is always upbeat even if she has been up all night with the 2 year old. She tells funny stories just to keep the mind active while in poses. She is a great motivator but doesn't push anyone to do more than they can handle. She uses props which I love. She will demonstrate the more involved poses and then really takes care to cue everything when we are doing the flow to the pose. I take her class every week and look forward to her smiling face! She's a gem!

Lisa is THE BEST! I've been practicing with Lisa for a few years now. Her classes always seem to be exactly what I need. She allows for freedom, flexibility, and for each of us to show up exactly how we are. I would highly recommend Lisa's classes for anyone looking for an inclusive, welcoming, and impactful yoga experience!

Lisa is great. She guides us through practice and allows you to explore what works for you. Each class is unique and gives you the opportunity to try something new.

Lisa is so friendly and relaxed as a teacher. There is never any pressure to perform the poses a certain way. You can tell she really cares about the students in her classes and wants to connect on a personal level.

Lisa is thoughtful and steps in when she sees someone needs assistance. Her cues are excellent and when needed she demos or shows a member of class (after asking permission) in order to help anyone who isn't certain of their positioning. Despite being online Lisa's warmth and yoga knowledge come through every class!

I will attend Lisa’s classes as long as I am physically able. She brings so much more than cueing yoga poses. In addition to giving precise instructions on how she wants us to move, she gives those small reminders that promotes so much confidence. Every practice is an eloquently woven interaction of how we can take the mindfulness of the class into our everyday life off the mat. Lisa nourishes the mind, body, spirit and the heart.

I love the community my teacher (Lisa R.) has built despite the fact that we are all online. And I love the constant reminders to listen to my body each class and take or leave what suits me.

Lisa is the reason that I try to never miss this class. She uses gentle, self deprecating humor to help make students feel welcome, allowing me and I think most attendees feel welcome.
