About this Class

Join Ompractice instructor Beth Ciesco for a laugh! Laugh yoga is a workout for the breath, heart, and funny bone. Grow younger with every giggle! Rediscover your playful and spontaneous side, and learn to laugh at life's challenges. Laugh Yoga benefits include: - improved oxygenation - increased circulation - reduced stress and improved resilience - enhanced immunity - feeling energized - renewed optimism Laugh yoga is contraindicated for those with recent surgeries, glaucoma, hernia, certain types of heart disease, and incontinence. Pregnant women are advised to speak with their doctor. People with no sense of humor may find laugh yoga distressing. Please note that laugh yoga can bring about embarrassing facial expressions, inconvenient bodily noises, and a complete loss of adult composure.

No Experience Required

This class is appropriate for all students with all experience levels, including new and beginner students who are still learning the basics.

Beth loves sharing Yoga as an act of self care, with an attitude of kindness and devotion toward self. Her teaching creatively draws from her own practices in a wide range of movement styles including chi gong, hatha, kundalini, chair, restorative and somatic yoga and includes asana, breathwork, gentle movement, kriyas, shaking, mantras and sounding, mudras, meditation, visualization, affirmation, and energy healing but the purpose is always the cultivation of embodiment, emotional resilience and wholeness (holiness). She currently lives in France.
