About this Class

This class consists of an essential flow of Pilates exercises with modifications and progressions. The sequence of movements is intended to target the core while improving muscular symmetry, alignment and endurance. Focus will also include enhanced range of motion, balance and coordination. Discover a stronger sense of mind-body awareness and move with more ease and grace. Bring a mat and a desire to move! Recommended props: yoga or Pilates mat, light 1-5 lb hand weights (or water bottles/cans), mini ball (or small sturdy sofa pillow), towel 3-4 feet in length

No Experience Required

This class is appropriate for all students with all experience levels, including new and beginner students who are still learning the basics.

Meet Your Teacher

Barbara HospodJoined December 2020

Barbara began her fitness career in early 2000 as a personal trainer. During that time, she was introduced to the world of Pilates and saw its benefits, and how it complemented and enhanced her weight training, running ability, and overall health and well-being. She is certified in STOTT Training, holds specialty tracks in both Dance and Mat through continuing education credits, and continues to learn and grow as an instructor, remaining current with new techniques and methods. She loves being able to help inspire people to become better versions of themselves, and enjoys motivating her clients so they can experience a transformative workout.
