In this Vinyasa-based class, connect breath to movement while also building strength and stability in static poses and playing with challenging pose variations. Expect to sweat, breathe, and push your limits. Instruction is primarily verbal cueing; minimal physical demonstration. Recommended props: yoga mat, 2 blocks (or books), strap (or scarf/towel) Also meets: Monday, Thursday
Previous yoga experience strongly recommended.
This class expects students to have some level of prior experience.

Lisa is a seasoned teacher, completing her 200-hour certification with YogaWorks in New York in 2010 and her 300-hour certification with Grace Morales in North Carolina in 2014. She is currently registered with Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT 500 and YACEP and has logged more than 2,000 teaching hours both in person and virtually. Since 2014, Lisa has also led multiple 200- and 300-hour teacher trainings.

Lisa did an amazing job pacing the class and she was so open, friendly, and encouraging, while still keeping the class paced quickly. This is everything I would want in a power yoga class (except a longer savasana, but I always want a longer savasana!!) I loved that she said at the beginning of class that the time and the flow was ours. Iβm big on making modifications to the flow but I never want to insult a teacher by doing it if theyβre not open to it. Lisa starting class this way made me feel so comfortable and welcome in my first class.

I spent five years or so thinking power flows were no longer accessible to me in my body. I accepted I wouldn't be practicing that style any longer. Lisa has a gift that makes power yoga accessible to people who may be dealing with pain or chronic physical issues. I love power yoga again and have tons of gratitude for Lisa and this platform.

I love my power yoga class. I work up a good sweat and feel all tingly after. There are challenging poses but I can modify to my abilities.

I have been taking Lisa's power yoga class since 2021 and have loved every class!! Every class is different, challenging and meditative. Lisa brings such amazing energy and beautiful stories/lessons that I carry through the day with me. I love the community she has built despite the fact that we are all online. Despite being online Lisa's warmth and yoga knowledge come through every class! Highly recommend!!
