Dawn has been practicing yoga since 2005. She became a registered teacher with Yoga Alliance in 2011. In that time she has logged well over the 2,000 hours of teaching needed that earned her E-RYT500 designation. Off of the mat, she is a military spouse and mother of two. Her yoga practice helps her navigate her personal wellness and any challenges this life throws her way. She is passionate about sharing what she has learned about the body and how to apply yoga philosophy to day-to-day experiences.
Learn moreAs usual, Dawn's class this week was excellent! It's always just what's needed and can be as easy or challenging as you'd like because she gives cues for accomodations in both directions. Dawn's classes are somehow one-size-fits-all and custom fit at the same time. She is an excellent teacher, although she points out during each class, she's the guide and your body is the teacher. She adds meaning and purpose to each class by starting out with 'food for thought' and weaves that message throughout the class. Thanks Dawn!

Quite a workout and flew by. Terrific and attentive teacher who understands when something she says is not entirely clear.

This class was a slow-burn. We started out slow then moved into more intense stuff and arrived at a final challenging pose. Dawn makes it very clear that you can take or leave whatever she is offering, no hurt feelings. The class had a good challenge as well as mindfulness.
