45min

About this Class

Yin Yoga is a slow-pace style of yoga that focuses on long-held, passive poses. Yin Yoga targets the deep connective tissues - your ligaments, tendons and fascia that surrounds and supports you joints. With each pose and sustained pressure, your tissues will be stimulated to improve overall health. Each series will begin with centering and grounding exercises, seated and reclined poses held for up to 5 minutes. You can use any props that feels comforting in your practice to make you feel supported. Recommended props: yoga mat, blocks (or books), strap (or towel/scarf), bolster (or pillow/rolled up towels), blanket, wall (or chair)

No Experience Required

This class is appropriate for all students with all experience levels, including new and beginner students who are still learning the basics.
