About this Class

A class inspired by longevity and sustainability within your body and your mind with the intentions to maintain muscular and bone strength, promote circulation, enhance joint mobility and increase your sense of balance and coordination. This class will respect your current conditions as well as offer a slight challenge to promote brain functioning, body awareness and create a sense of harmony wherever you are in life. Balance poses, mindful transitions and breathing practices are included in this methodical class. Some yoga experience is recommended. Instruction is primarily verbal cueing; but some physical demonstrations and modifications will be provided. Recommended props: yoga mat, blocks (or books), blankets

Meet Your Teacher

Dannika RossJoined June 2019

Dannika is a 200-hour and 300-hour registered yoga instructor recognized through Yoga Alliance. She is a charismatic teacher who enlightens her students with authenticity and integrity, meeting them exactly where they are. She shares her yogic insight through mindful movements, creative transitions and pranayama practices with the intention of creating sustainability and holistic awareness. With a true passion for nature and adventure, Dannika also hosts beach/outdoor yoga classes, guides yoga hikes, teaches SUP yoga on the water and co-hosts international yoga retreats.
