A restful, calming class including breathing, gentle flowing movements, and focus on alignment of poses. This is a perfect yoga class for beginners but is also appropriate for those working with injury, limited mobility, or those who prefer a more gentle approach to yoga. You will be guided into each pose to safely strengthen, tone and stabilize the body. We will focus on physical postures (asanas), deep breathing, mindfulness and listening to the body. Recommended props: yoga mat, two blocks (or books), blanket, pillow
This class is appropriate for all students with all experience levels, including new and beginner students who are still learning the basics.
