Explore a series of gentle movements that heighten your awareness, build your movement vocabulary and increase your mobility, endurance and energy. This class is for anyone who is interested in simplifying their yoga practice and exploring their natural alignment. Typical movements include yoga poses that are broken down into a fluid movement series, simple joint actions and static holds. By practicing a limited amount of poses per class, students can dive deeper into one specific pose, its alignment according to the students body and the use of props to explore different movement possibilities. NOTE: This class is appropriate for people who can move from the floor to standing. Recommended props: yoga mat, blocks (or books), blanket
This class expects students to have some level of prior experience.
