Welcome to the Ompractice end-of-the-year Slow Down! We're kicking off a blend of live classes, videos you can watch on your own time, and weekly action prompts – helping us build mindfulness, feel gratitude, rest better, and connect with community. Slow down with us! 🖐 Who is this for? YOU. Well, all of us! Yes, whether you are brand new to Ompractice, or have been here for the long haul, this program is tailored to meet you where you are. We've designed this end of the year program to be for the whole community: it’s about slowing down and building your commitment to yourself, and focusing on adding small meaningful things that make your day to day life better. These classes will have (light) accessible movement (although you can also take them seated!) and some optional conversation. It's for everyone! 📖 What we'll cover: Each week, we have a new theme based on mindfulness and connection: Week 1: Slow Down and Notice This week, we'll help you slow down and appreciate the little things in life. It's about tuning into the good things around you, even in your everyday routine. Week 2: Slow Down with Gratitude Join us in exploring the power of gratitude. We'll show you how simple acts of thankfulness can boost your happiness and make your day-to-day experiences brighter. Week 3: Slow Down for Restful Renewal Take a break and recharge your batteries. We'll guide you through ways to relax and unwind, so you feel refreshed and ready to tackle whatever comes your way. Week 4: Slow Down with Community Connection Connect with others – life is always better when we aren’t facing it alone. This week is all about building relationships, finding common ground, and supporting each other along the way. 📆 What's the Time Commitment? Four weeks, starting November 12th! You'll have one weekly live class, and an optional (short!) video to watch. Bonus: completely optional "homework". If you can't make it to all the live classes, that's okay too!
This class is appropriate for all students with all experience levels, including new and beginner students who are still learning the basics.

Alice Riccardi has been a student of yoga for 21 years and a teacher for 19. She is a 500 hour certified Baptiste Power Yoga teacher and an established E-RYT through Yoga Alliance. Alice came to the practice of yoga at the ripe age of 42, one year after her daughter Sophia was born. Her teaching style is inclusive, strong and compassionate. She believes in the power of the practice as a path to transformation, not just for anyone, but for everyone.
Reggie began his yoga journey in 2014, seeking inner peace during professional challenges. Now a 500-hour certified teacher, he is known for sharing techniques for cultivating peace and ease in daily life to Members of Congress and their staff, mission-oriented organizations, healthcare leaders and more. His teaching practice is designed for all levels and lifestyles; the only thing required is an open mind. The focus of his teaching is to bring more peace and balance to those doing advocacy work, while guiding the wellness community toward being more engaged, concerned citizens. He believes achieving this balance is how we catalyze transformative change.
Michael Lee, M.A., Dip.Soc.Sci., C-IAYT, is the Founder of Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy, a leading edge yoga based modality for psycho-emotional well-being and an IAYT Accredited Program. Chanel is a RYT-200 certified instructor who started her yoga journey when she injured her knee and her physical therapist suggested yoga as a form of healing. At first she thought yoga was going to just be “stretching” but quickly learned it brought far more benefits both emotionally and physically. Chanel teaches a vinyasa (flow) style class that encourages her students to try new things in a non-judgemental environment.
